The supermarkets have really upped their games, all providing excellent options for a tasty and festive Christmas. Here are our top picks:
Sainsbury: The Daiya Chocolate Cheezecake is an indulgent alternative if you're not fond of the traditional fruit cake options, it also boasts a peanut, soy, dairy, gluten, and egg free recipe - yay! This has a RRP of £5.50. Linda McCartney's Beef Mushroom & Spinach Wellington Bites are perfect for the after dinner snacking when everybody is gathered around the sofa watching the festive themed soaps - RRP £2.00. Our last top pick from Sainsbury is the ever so popular Violife Cheese Platter, three flavour filled vegan cheeses which is free from dairy, soya, gluten, lactose and nuts! - £5.50.
Asda: 6 Mince Pies coming in at a very affordable £0.97 they are a great alternative to other mince pies that may typically contain milk (is that really necessary?) . Mushroom & Spinach Puff Pastry Parcels can be used as a Christmas dinner main if you don't or can't have a nut roast - RRP £2.50. Asda now have a wonderfully indulgent Chocolate Torte made with cashews, almonds and Belgian chocolate! - RRP £4.00.
Tesco: If you haven't tried these yet you should defiantly add them to the shopping list, the amazing Salted Caramel & Cocoa Tortilla Curls, great for a light snack while waiting for the dinner to cook this Christmas! - RRP £1.00 a bag. Two tasty chocolate snacks you can add to your own DIY selection box is the Free From Choc Selection Box (RRP £3.00) and the Free From White Chocolate Coins (RRP £1.00).
Morrisons: The Nut & Alcohol Free Christmas Pudding comes in two sizes, the smaller 100g pudding is just £1.00 and the larger 454g pudding comes in at £2.50.
