iChocolate Square Bites

Hello everyone, welcome to the blog!

Lets kick off the first post with something simple, it's not exactly a recipe considering it doesn't involve a lot but it's tasty nonetheless.

For these two layer chocolate square bites I used:

  • 200g Dark Chocolate

  • 80g iChoc Classic Bar

  • 4 (Heaped) tablespoonfuls of crunchy peanut butter

  • 2 tablespoons Coconut Oil

In all honesty it's super simple, but a nice way to add some additional flavour to your chocolate; to start with melt the dark chocolate with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in a glass bowl over some boiling water. Once melted, add in half of the crunchy peanut butter and mix to only just combine, this is so it's extra crunchy on the bottom!

Line a container with some baking paper so the chocolate doesn't stick; I used a small round metallic one so the chocolate squares are quite thick. Pour this mix into said container of choice and pop it into the fridge to cool.

Do the same with the iChoc Bar and fully combine the peanut butter in so it's a consistent mix of iChoc and peanut butter! Pour this mix over the chilled chocolate mix and spread to even. After this I put mine in the freezer as I'm pretty impatient with these things, though I'm sure leaving it to cool in the fridge is okay too. Cut into squares and enjoy.

They're pretty indulgent and probably won't last long (well they didn't in my house), but are sure to fix any chocolaty cravings you may have. Let me know what iChoc flavour you would use if you made this?
